As a Senior Technical Consultant in Business Applications D365 CE, you’ll provide technical and development expertise for D365 implementations, combining a passion for technology and business to deliver maximum value. You’ll identify and address requirements beyond native functionality in areas such as integration, automation, data migration, pipelines, and coding, using Microsoft and non-Microsoft tools alongside skills in C#, Java/TypeScript, SQL, Fetch XML, PowerFX, and Liquid.

You’ll apply the full software development lifecycle to deliver high-quality, performant solutions, while staying current with D365, Power Platform, Azure, and best practices. The role includes mentoring team members, setting standards, and driving continuous improvement. Working closely with architects, project managers, customers, and stakeholders, you’ll advise and guide teams to unlock technology benefits, achieve goals, and deliver measurable ROI within project constraints.

 

Key responsibilities...

  • Build trust and confidence with stakeholders through strong technical expertise and collaboration.
  • Deliver technical solutions that meet design and acceptance criteria, including integration, automation, data migration, and coding.
  • Lead technical design sessions, demonstrations, and training.
  • Apply deep knowledge of D365 CE apps, Power Platform (Power Pages, Copilot Studio, Power Apps), and Azure components.
  • Design, build, test, and document Power Automate Flows, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and custom code across multiple languages.
  • Define and execute automated testing and implement CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Govern coding standards, source control, deployment, and IT change best practices.
  • Design and implement strategies for data migration, integration, and environments.
  • Stay current on D365, Power Platform, and Azure developments, advising on cost-benefit decisions.
  • Challenge stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant solutions aligned with project goals.
  • Promote secure-by-design principles and proactively manage scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and drive continuous improvement in delivery practices.

 

Skills and experience required...

  • Expert knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE and Microsoft Power Platform (Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Power Pages, AI Builder).
  • Strong programming skills in C#, Java/TypeScript, PowerFX, and familiarity with complementary languages (Liquid, React, PCF Controls).
  • Proficiency in Azure services (storage, identity, security, messaging, monitoring) and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated testing).
  • Experience delivering complex integrations, data migrations, automation, and co-development strategies.
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, backlog management, and estimation using Azure DevOps.
  • Skilled in stakeholder communication, mentoring, and guiding technical/non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of ALM best practices, Success by Design, Catalyst frameworks, and Modern Workplace/M365.
  • Strong business, commercial, and technical acumen to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with project goals.
