This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

The primary purpose of the role is to support the AE/ AM with the commercial renewal of a portfolio of accounts. Your role is to lead the engagement on contract renewals, demonstrating the value the client has received during the agreement and utilize this to propose a renewal with an uplifted margin wherever possible. You will have direct access to the customer success team to help you with this too.

 

Roles and responsibilities... 

Analyse

  • Identify the value delivered through the current contract which is due for renewal. Working with the customer success managers and architects will be key to doing this.
  • Identify growth opportunities within your set renewals 
  • Meet with you customer base well before the renewal date to build a relationship and be the driving force in securing the contract extension – face to face wherever possible and appropriate (contract value will play a determining factor here)
  • Generate referrals into our horizontal sales teams
  • Work closely with the internal and external partners, customer success, ANS marketing, other ANS Sales to maximize the ANS product set into their accounts

Win

  • Deliver annual sales targets based on an opening and closing balance – through renewing and up-selling contract value
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle through CRM including working with our other sales teams where they have a growth component of the renewing contract  
  • Collaborate with the ANS sales teams (account executives / managers) who own the commercial relationship, and have the final say on any commercial proposals you create for renewals

Grow

  • Manage a set of enterprise and mid-market accounts who have contracts that are due to renew
  • Work with the finance team to accurately forecast the contract base, setting accurate expectations on losses, renewals and growth with accurate forecast dates
  • Ensure a smooth continuation of support by working with our finance team and customer success teams, closing renewals ahead of the renewal date 
  • Be the main point of contact & engagement plans for the client on your contract renewals
  • Work closely with the CSM and CSA including attending Service Reviews where appropriate to facilitate the renewals with the CSM, CSA & renewals team
  • Fully understand the landscape and people in your customer base, who have an influence in the contract being work upon
  • Own all the actions

 

Skills and experience required...

  • ­You will have an innate hunger and desire to be a winner, with strong experience in a business-to-business (B2B) technology sales role
  • A strong work-ethic and be a team player, operating seamlessly with multiple teams at any one time
  • In addition, you will be expected to bring with you:
    • An understanding of cloud solutions and/or software-as-a-service (SaaS) as well as private cloud & hosting solutions
    • Confident, engaging, and resilient personality
    • Customer-obsessive – our team goes above and beyond to deliver only the very best service for our prospects and customers
    • Consultative sales approach – Starting with where the customer is and putting their needs first.
    • A commercial mindset: always looking to find the win-win between the prospect’s next need and growing ANS’ business
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including presenting product demonstrations to the prospect stakeholders
  • Identify prospects in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business needs
