As a Programme Manager within ANS’s Digital Delivery team, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of complex, multi‑solution programmes of work. You’ll ensure delivery aligns closely to customer business objectives, lead cross‑functional teams across ANS, and drive efficiency and effectiveness in the use of our digital and technology solutions.

 

Key responsibilities...

  • Programme Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multi-solution projects, including but not limited to implementation, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Strategic Planning & Alignment: Develop and maintain a comprehensive programme roadmap aligned with business objectives, ensuring solutions support the long-term strategy and vision of the customer.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with key customer business stakeholders to understand their requirements, manage expectations, and ensure successful adoption of solutions across various departments.
  • Team Management & Development: Lead cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, business analysts, and functional consultants. Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Project Delivery & Governance: Oversee and manage where required the project delivery process, ensuring the use of best practices in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and change control.
  • Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement: Ensure that solutions meet functional requirements, quality standards, and performance expectations. Identify and drive continuous improvements within the programme.
  • Risk & Issue Management:
    Proactively manage risks and issues related to the programme, including identifying potential obstacles, resolving conflicts, and ensuring the programme stays on track.
  • Communication & Reporting:
    Provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders on programme progress, risks, timelines, and budget.
  • Budget & Resource Management:
    Manage programme budgets, ensuring optimal use of resources while adhering to financial constraints.

 

Skills and experience required...

  • Proven experience in leading and managing large-scale, complex projects & programmes with multiple workstreams. Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and tools (MS Project, Azure Dev Ops)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and drive effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Significant experience of delivering projects/workstreams within complex technology or business transformation programmes
  • Proven track record of managing supplier delivery within complex projects & programmes
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of professionals, including ‘managing individuals who are also managers’
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, up to senior manager/director level
  • Strong commercial awareness
